Bulk Asbestos (NIOSH 9002)
As of November 2023, WorkSafeBC updated its regulations for asbestos testing. According to the guideline “10 Steps to Complying with Asbestos Abatement Requirements” any building constructed before 2018 may contain asbestos.
Our laboratory provides accurate bulk asbestos analysis using the NIOSH 9002 method, in compliance with WorkSafeBC. This service identifies and quantifies asbestos fibers in bulk building materials through Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM).
Whether for renovation, demolition, or routine inspections. Our reliable results support informed decision-making and safe environmental practices.
